drylin® W linear/rotary guide study

drylin® W linear guide system meets PRT

This design is an example of the great flexibility of the drylin® W linear system, implementing a linear adjustment with pivot/rotation by means of the igus® PRT slewing ring bearing. The drylin® W linear carriage's mounting plate provides enough room for a direct PRT connection. In this design, the 10-120 installation size is used with a linear carriage (150mm long) and low-profile PRT-04-50. In the real application, this design was used to adjust a backrest and rotate a pad in the optimum operating direction.
