A smooth glide system for an outdoor kitchen concept to open and close the kitchen block easily was required. If not in use, it could be changed into a design object in this way. The goal of this design: A frictionless operation without disturbing noises. Ball or roller guide systems are exposed to dust, dirt and humidity, which make the use of a conventional solution impossible. Plastic bearings from igus® guarantee a friction- and maintenance-free operation.
