igubal® ESQM-2.0 - the second generation of our pillow block bearing series for the solar industry with shaft mounting
The ESRM-2.0 spherical pillow block bearing has a reduced overall height and replaces the previous upper half of the housing with a 2mm-galvanised-sheet metal extender crossbar. Despite its thin material thickness, it ensures a high structural stiffness. The Magnelis® coating ensures self-healing corrosion protection and increases the component’s durability. The lower part of the housing is made of solarmid G, whilst the spherical bearing component is made of iglidur P UV. Both materials are approximately three times more UV-stable than first-generation materials.
Thanks to a targeted redistribution of material, this version is stronger and more compact than its predecessors, offering a cost advantage.
