iglidur® bar stock A500
 
Plain bearings made from iglidur® A500 can be used at high temperatures and are permitted for use in direct contact with foodstuffs (FDA-compliant). They exhibit an
exceptionally good chemical resistance and are suitable for heavy-duty use in and around machinery for the food industry. Though iglidur® A500 is an extremely soft material, it simultaneously possesses an excellent compressive strength even at high temperatures.

  • If extremely high wear resistance is required, then iglidur® X6 or iglidur® Z
  • If high temperature or chemical resistance is not required, then iglidur® A180 or iglidur® A200
  • If a cost-effective universal bearing is required, then iglidur® G or iglidur® P
